 The ExFer™ Cart consists of a patented five wheeled mobile platform that universally accepts and configures standard bypass equipment to improve transportability, footprint, storage, and ease of use.  Its locking wheels and low center-of-gravity make it ideal for a variety of clinical environments. The dual-sided, height-adjustable grip  permits single-handed maneuverablity.  As a result, healthcare facilities can maintain CPS and ECMO systems in confined spaces and can deploy these systems rapidly and easily within a facility or between facilities.




 The eCPS System consists of a complete cardiopulmonary support system with all necessary capital equipment to operate, maintain, and transport a patient on CPS.  The height of the vertical support post can be ordered in three sizes:

36", 40" or 50" to accomodate various transportation modalities, heater-cooler units and customer unique requirments.  The I.V. holder section can extend the pole upward by an additional 13-20". The eCPS System is currently available complete with either MEDTRONIC or SORIN motor drive systems. 

 The ExFer™ Cart and eCPS System are manufactured to medical-grade quality guidelines in the United States and are TÜV compliant and CE marked for international sales.  The ExFer™ Cart is compatable with LEVITRONIX, MAQUET, MEDTRONIC, SORIN, TERUMO or most any other motor drive systems.  An adjustable shelf is available to accomodate the use of a heater-cooler unit, POC testing unit, laptop computer or other customer equipment.


  Small-scale healthcare environments, such as emergency departments, hybrid ORs, cath labs, and ICUs can benefit from access to complete, portable artificial heart-lung support systems.  The ExFer™ Cart places this technology on the front lines of urgent care, maximizing treatment options and potentially saving lives.  For large hospitals, the ExFer™ Cart allows rapid mobility between multiple treatment centers, maximizing utilization.

 Current research shows that early implementation of extracorporal circulatory support in the Emergency Department can make the difference between life and death across a broad spectrum of patient classifications, both adult and pediatric.  This small-footprint, rapidly deployable unit is the most cost-effective mode of mobile cardiopulmonary support available on the market today.


 The eCPS System can be ordered with a verticle height of just 36" (shown here) for the most compact portable configuration.  This model is ideal for the transportation of critical patients, or casualties via rotor or fixed wing aircraft.  Such configuration is applicable to both military and civilian environments.
